When you are in the computer view, you will see your
computers floppy disk drive. Right click on the floppy disk drive and then
select format from the menu that pops up.
Under the format option you will see an option for
Create an MS-DOS start up disk. Go ahead and choose this
option to start the windows xp startup disk creation process.
You also need to know if you have any data on the
floppy disk that you want to save you will need to transfer it to your hard
drive or use another floppy disk. The reason is because windows will format
the floppy and erase all of the data on the floppy.
One last thing to note is that the windows xp startup
disk will only allow you to boot into ms dos in windows xp and there are no
other additional tools on the windows xp startup disk.
