Windows xp registry cleaners

When using windows xp registry cleaners, you need to be careful how you use them.

If you do not look at what the program finds and you just delete anything you could corrupt valuable windows data and your computer may not start when you go to re start it again.

It is always a good idea to back everything up before you make any changes to the windows xp registry.  If you can you should also save it to a floppy disk just incase you need to restore the windows xp registry if you ever have any problems.

It is best to stick with windows xp registry cleaners that offer customer support just in case you do have problems.

Many people have just deleted what a registry cleaner has found and have gotten their computer into trouble and could not reboot.

Windows xp registry cleaners are good for finding dll files and orphaned files that are hanging around on your hard drive.  These files can slow down windows to a screeching halt.

It is for this reason the windows registry needs to be looked after.  How often you perform a windows xp registry clean depends on how often you use your computer.

If you use your computer everyday, then you may want to perform a windows xp registry clean at least once a week.

If you use your computer only a few times a week then monthly is a good bet.

Again just be careful what it is you delete from the system registry.  The windows registry is a database that holds many important files, windows needs in order to run properly.

And using windows xp registry cleaners blindly will destroy data windows needs to run.
