Pay Pal and Ebay email scams continue!

Today I want to mention again about the
Pay Pal and Ebay email scams that are going
around.
Please be on the look out for these. They
have been flooding the internet over the last
month with these scams. And they are only
getting
worse.
You may have noticed alot of these emails
flooding
your in box. I can tell you this. Delete them
all.
What these people are doing is call Phising.
They are sending out these emails where ever
they
can in hopes that someone will fall for the
email
and go to their website and give them their
information.
Please, Please, Please, delete these emails.
Tell
everyone you know also that these emails are a
scam!

Making sure your computer is protected!
--------------------------------------------------
With todays internet, you need to keep yourself
secure. There is no doubt about that. If you
bank
on line or do business on line. You need to be
protected
bottom line.
One way to protect yourself is to never open
emails
with attachments. If you know where the email
came
from them maybe. But, even then it can be risky!
No matter who or what you use for your email.
Make
sure you always scan an attachment before you
open it.
If you use any file sharing programs, make sure
you
always scan the file after you download it. I
know
many people who lost all their information and
had
to call their local computer shop to repair
their pc.
If you just make sure to take the time and put
in
place some kind of plan. You can save yourself
from those dreaded trips to your computer repair
shop.

If you use outlook or outlook express!
Turn off the preview pane!
--------------------------------------------------
Here is a quick tip for you about using outlook
or
outlook express for your email client.
Make sure you turn off the preview pane. When
opening
emails with outlook, if you have the preview
pane turned
on, it will automatically download the email.
Yes that
could even mean a virus if one is loaded in the
email.
In outlook or express just hit the tools menu
and
find the options. Then turn of the preview pane!
