mcse certification

How to get it!

mcse certification is the premier certification for the it world.  Microsoft has been offering this certification for a few years now and obtaining it can help someone land a better job.

But what if you have no computer experience and would like to get into the IT world.

Studying for the mcse certification is a great start; however you will need real world experience first, especially if you do not have schooling.

It may be best to start from the ground up and learn how to fix computer first.  For this you should study for the A+ certification

Once you have that you can then expose yourself to computer repair and finally move on to network management.

The mcse certification is no easy test by any means.  It is a rigorous exam which requires an individual pass about 7 tests.

However it all depends on what you are concentrating on.  The mcse certification with security is a great way to go.

As more and more computer jobs go over seas from the United States, you want to make sure you have a secure job once you get started.  They way to do that is make sure your job requires you have to be on site

If you are new to computers and would like to obtain your mcse, you may want to also study networking.  Microsoft released a great book called networking essentials a few years back.

This book was a requirement for one of the old mcse certification tests.  It is no longer required but is still a good book to expose someone to networking.

Do not make the mistake of thinking all you have to do is get your mcse certification and you will land a job tomorrow.

Remember one of the biggest things that will start your computer career is experience.

The paper mcse certification syndrome is all too common these days.  You want to make sure you can run a network before you make a fool of yourself at any job.

The mcse certification changes from year to year all depending on what operating version of windows Microsoft releases and when they feel the test needs updating.

You want to make sure you understand old technology as well as new.  If you are going for the server 2003 mcse certification it can’t hurt to study a few books from windows 2000.

This way you make sure you have both down.  Many companies still run older technology because they cannot afford upgrades.

You can read more about the mcse certification from Microsoft’s website.
