Get rich quick scams run rampant on the internet.
You can usually find them in emails and on websites.
Most people that fall for these scams are looking
for a legitimate business opportunity.
Where they fail is checking out the company
completely before doing any business with them. |
A good practice to do before getting involved with any
company over the internet is to search them on yahoo or Google, search business
forums and ask the BBB.
These are not complete fool proof ways to protect yourself
but they all can provide you with good information before falling for get rich
quick scams.
If you happen to find some people that are or were doing
business with the company you want to join don’t be shy.
If they offer their email address, email them and ask them
about their experience with the company. It’s much better to do your homework
than to fall victim to a bad company.
The bottom line here is that it’s easy to think you can
make a million dollars tomorrow but the reality of the situation is it takes
work and dedication to make good money with any business.
And, do not fall for the idea that because it’s the
internet you will not have to work that hard.
This has been the dream of many internet entrepreneurs over
and over. However, it just doesn’t work that way.
Even with an internet business you will have to put in time
before you reap what you sew.
The old adage is, “if it seems too good to be true it
probably is.” Having this mindset can save you from falling for any scam.

before the internet. Now that the internet is in full force, you need to keep
your guard up more than ever so you do not fall for get rich quick scams.
Some classic tell tail signs of get rich quick scams
are:
- Sending money before you know what you are getting
- Sending money over seas
- A promise to get rich tomorrow
- No hard work involved
- A company with no phone number
- You cannot talk to or email a support person
- Doing business with a company that sent you an email
out of the blue
These are all classics signs.
However not all of these mean the company is a scam
company. Remember to keep your guard up and ask questions before falling for
get rich quick scams.
