Enable task manager

To enable task manager in windows all you have to do is press the ctrl, alt and delete key on your keyboard and the task manager will pop up.

When you enable task manager there are some powerful option you can choose to work with depending on what it is you want to accomplish.

The first tab you will see is the programs tab.  This is a listing of current running programs on your computer.  One of the reasons you enable task manager is because you may want to close out a program that is not responding.

The next tab when you enable task manager you will see is the processes tab.  This tab displays a list of programs and other things running in the background of windows.

If you are going to close out a program from this tab you need to be careful.  Some of the current running process are running under the windows system files.

Closing out the wrong one can turn your computer off.

Also with this tab, sometimes you may not be able to open a certain program in windows.  You can always check under this tab to see if it is listed and close it out

Then, try and re-run the program you wanted to open.

The next tab you will see once you enable task manager is the performance tab.  This will show you your current cpu consumption and the available system memory.

You can use this tab to diagnose speed problems with your computer.

The last two tabs you will see after you enable task manager are the networking tab and the users tab.  The networking tab shows you how your computer is currently running on the network.

You can also use this tab to diagnose and see if there are and problems with the internet or your home network.

The last tab is the users tab.  This show how many users are currently logged into windows at the current time.

When you enable task manager you do have quite a few options that can be used to diagnose problems with your computer.

Again remember to be careful what you do in the task manager tab and do not just close out everything.

This program in windows should be used with caution, so when you enable task manager remember to be careful.
