computer virus repair

Fix your computer from viruses!

Computer virus repair can be tricky if you get a nasty virus.  Some viruses can restart your computer over and over so you can't even get into windows.

If that is the case, then try starting your computer in safe mode if you have windows.  Safe mode is sort of a protected mode of windows that allows you to boot up your computer when it is having trouble.  If you cannot boot into safe mode then you may need an expert.

To boot into safe mode.  Restart your computer and press F8 (Win XP) before windows loads.  It will then provide the safe mode menu.  Just choose safe mode and see if your computer boots up.

If it does then, you may be able to run your anti virus software in safe mode and perform a computer virus repair.

Be conscience of your habits on the internet so you don't have to perform too much computer virus repair.  Don't let your computer get bogged down by installing every piece of software you see on the internet.

You have to be careful of things like active x controls and other programs you load into your computer.  Active x controls can be either good or bad.

However, if you don't know and trust the source of the active x control then don't load it into your computer.

Also, watch what others do and load into your computer system.  Some people don't have any understanding of file sharing programs and email which can run rampant with viruses.

You don't want to get stuck performing computer virus repair for something you didn't even do.

Another thing you can try if you cannot start your computer is find a friend who has good anti virus software on their computer and see if they can make you a rescue disk.

Then try loading this floppy rescue disk into your computer and see if that can perform the computer virus repair.

So, you don't have to perform too much computer virus repair.  Make sure you get some good anti virus software from a local retail store.

Doing so will help keep your computer and your data secure and you will not have to do any computer virus repair.
